The Northfield Historical Society is asking local residents for help with an exhibit planned for this fall. NHS executive director Hayes Scriven says in November,St. Olaf and Northfield will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the St. Olaf Christmas Festival. Scriven invites anyone with memories or mementos of the festival throughout that 100 years to share them with the historical society for inclusion in the exhibit. Scriven says the exhibit will focus on the community-festival connection throughout the years. The festival has been nationally featured in recent years on radio and television. Anyone with memories or memorabilia is invited to contact Scriven at 645-9268.
